Bay Area Media Makers Summit (BAMMS)

Film Conference

Liema gave a presentation at the Bay Area Media Makers Summit held at the Roxie Theater. They presented on Music and Audio for film storytelling touching on subjects like sound design, scoring, and licensing.

 

University of California Santa Cruz

Social Documentary MFA (SOCDOC)

Liema taught Pre and Post Audio production for film with an emphasis of Documentary. They taught signal flow, recording, mixing, equalization and compression techniques, microphones, sound design, composition, Pro Tools and Adobe Premiere for the Spring 2022 quarter.

Liema has been doing a series of lectures on basics on podcast recording and editing.

Ethnocommunications

Lien guest lectures for the Ethnocommunications department of UCLA speaking on topics of recording and editing for filmmakers with limited support. Lien goes over the basics of waveforms, recording and recording gear, filmmaker lingo, file and resolution types, and basic mixing.

 

Re-present Media

Post-Audio Film Workshop

Lien lectured for Re-Present Media which is a non-profit/collective for filmmakers that highlights stories from the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ Communities. The workshop was based mostly in post audio film lingo, communications, audio resources, basic mixing and editing.

 

Women’s Audio Mission

WAM Level II

Lien is an instructor and engineer for Women’s Audio Mission’s classes. The classes taught are based on Studio Recording & Production, Mixing & Signal Processing, and Pro Tools
