Music from the Movie X by Liema and Kevin De Nicolo
The Feature Film “X”
X is a film by The Foundation is a drama about a private subscription to a reoccurring play party events called “balls”. The story unfolds following two main characters and the secrets that are hidden during these events. The secrets cause chaos within the community and as the audience you are put in a position of moral conflict the entire time.
The Foundation and Liema
Liema worked on the film for 2 years contributing all of the post-production audio for the film. They were originally brought on as ADR (audio dialogue replacement) engineers and it grew to doing all the facets of sound for the film. They were involved in all ADR, foley, editing, mixing, composition, and sound design.
The Soundtrack
Lien from Liema was brought on to be the main composer with Kevin De Nicolo (of The Foundation) for the soundtrack of the film. Matt was a the sound designer of the film so it was easy to integrate sound design elements into the score of the film. The sound track is a mix of pop tracks from Kevin De Nicolo and Orchestral/Sound Design works from Liema.
